About

Mazdaspeed3STUI’m Vlad Grodzinskiy. I am currently working in the technology field, and finishing up a degree in IT. Born in Kharkov, Ukraine, I speak Russian fluently and am rather rambunctious. I have unique opinions and I’m not afraid to talk about them.

Being a big fan of soccer, I’m an avid Chelsea supporter and could talk on the subject for hours. I started working in the Information Technology industry about five years ago and have stuck to it ever since. Hobbies? I race with the Detroit-Region SCCA in my Mazdaspeed 3 in the STU class of Solo II.  Apart from that, I enjoy photography, racing, video games, cars, and design.

About daily digital parsimony

Photo_Face I really just needed a place to rant. In reality though, I enjoy work on anything creative (photography included) and needed a vice for my addiction. On the side, I run a bit of a photography gig and do various brochure & flyer designs. I figured this would be a good place to put up some ideas on how design plays a big part in the tech industry. I’ve recently become obsessed with parsimony, or the principle of “less is better”, and decided to name the blog just that. Parsimony is basically the implementation of Occam’s razor, which can be paraphrased: all other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best.

Below is a 10-line snippet of my FriendFeed, a history of my activities on the dynamic web.
